Apparently when you specify a page as your 'home page' in your browser, it loads momentarily when ever you click on a link to a new site/page (that's a programming flaw if I ever saw one). The result of this that it can 'slow' your browsing experience down ever so slightly. For this reason we have created this 'low rent' version of our home page for those people who feel they are affected by this problem (those of you using 9600 modems, or bits of string and paper cups for your internet access). My interpretation of this phenomenon may be a bit flaky as I have not experienced it personally. |
